I suggest that for common stuff like beds, dressers, living room furniture, then you should not invest in new stuff now. Picking up bathroom pieces may be nice, and a good computer set with printer table would be good too. These are lacking at post. Also, children's furniture if you have kids. They will get a twin size bed, and regular bedroom dressers, but not an indestructible desk set or toy box.
The end tables, coffee table and dinning room set are adequate. A utility table in the kitchen (for a mixer and such) would be nice,k as wood bathroom towel table stand/vanity set. The entertainment center that State provides will hold up to a 32″ TV, nothing larger. Some people like to have extra book shelves too. We only get a few of these, depending on post. That said, I have four large book units in my computer room, and two in my living room! It varies from post to post.

I need to replace my living room set, but I notice that most, but not all, posts are furnished, would you even worry about getting a new set at this point?
